Luxury Hotel Interior architecture and design for sheraton branded Hotel Da Mei Sha Shenzhen China.
368 Key | 5 Star Hotel | Scope of Works: Public Areas Package
Sheraton Da Mei Sha is a multi-award winning building designed by internationally acclaimed Architecture practice Farrells, and marking the entrance into the Hotel industry by Chinese property development giant Kingkey Group. The 368 key, 5-star luxury urban resort hotel additionally features 2 expansive private villas each with a GFA of 4,250sqm. Located on the Southern coast of Shenzhen, the hotel is situated on a 2.5km stretch of pristine beachfront coastline looking across the water towards Hong Kong, and surrounded by mountains to the rear . The project boasts an impressive list of consultants comprised of multi-award-winning International practices, namely, Hirsch Bedner Associates /Project interior Designer; AB Concept/Restaurant Design; Arups/ Lobby Structural Engineer, to name a few.
As one half of the HBA design team, Leigh was responsible for all of the Public Areas from concept through to completion on this fast-track prestigious project. Specific areas under Leigh's scope included: Lobby, Lobby Lounge, Lounge Bar, Public Area Lift Lobbies, Lift Car Interiors, Flow Spaces, Executive Lounge, Spa, Health Club, Indoor Swimming Pool as well as the Conference Wing Building housing multiple Ballrooms, Function Rooms, Meeting Rooms, and a Business Centre.
